Welcome to First Christian Church

First Christian Church is a New Testament Independent Christian Church. This means that we are not controlled or governed by a body that does not reside within our community. We receive our direction from the Bible with our local Church Board as our governing authority.

The First Christian Church in Dalhart sets the foundation for strong communities in Dalhart. We are dedicated to the advancement of God's Word through education, evangelism, and other benevolent activities in our community.

Evening Praise and Worship 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday Night Activities:

Family Supper 5:30 p.m.

Children and Adult Study 6:00 p.m.

Adult Choir Practice 7:00 p.m.

What We Do

The First Christian Church community centers provide invaluable community services, such as vocational training, parenting classes, temporary shelter for displaced families and more.

Volunteer Opportunities

The First Christian Church has many areas in which you can plug yourself into. There are needs in our Childrens Ministries and Youth Group. Share your voice by joining the Adult Choir. Maybe the place for you is to help with Children's Church or the nursery. Whatever your gifts are, you can be plugged in. Contact the church office for details!
